Ya, its a roller cam and rockers. I was told by the builder to initially not let it idle too long. He said a lot of guys ruin their engines because they just start it up to show off for their friends and let it idle. He told me to hit the road and get it up to speed in 3rd gear and then just let off the gas. Repeat. He said the backpressure this caused would help seat the rings.

> Sean, It is probably ok. If your running a hyd roller cam they restrict the amount of oil to the lifters, thus less through the push rods. Is it a roller cam? Getting the rpm up will move a lot more oil too. keep the rpm changing, , 30000 rev up, hold a little 2000 just don't let it set and idle. Congrats WAAAAAAA!!!!Bill 1362
