[DeTomaso] Oil leak

Dear Gudmund,


              I have the same problem: oil on that screw holding the 
brake cables under the ZF.   I was told that the screw hole communicates 
with the ZF internal cavity.  If I recall correctly, I checked that 
years ago and found that the screw hole is a dead end and it doesn't 
enter the ZF cavity.


              In my opinion, the majority of ZFs leak a little bit and 
the lowest(?) point on the rear half of the unit is that screw for the 
cables.  It thus appears to be leaking from there.  I have accepted that 
it the way it is until I have the ZF gone through and sealed up with 
21st century sealants and gaskets.  In the meantime, I just clean it up.
