If you want a 355, buy one that has had most of those items repaired already.

There will always be the possibility of new problems for sure, but nothing like having the big ticket items already resolved on someone else's wallet.

The older Ferraris are much much easier to work on yourself and while certain marque specific parts can be really expensive, many smaller jobs can be completed economically.

That is ridiculous.

I really like the 355 too, but I wouldn't be able to accept the Ferrari tax.
