You need to get a used tube that has been modified for the longer dipstick. What they did was take the stock tube, braze on a longer tube with a bracket. They then brazed an extension onto the dipstick. I have my original lengthened dipstick and I also have the Ford part# for the equivalent and can tell you where to mark it for correct oil level. Sam
