[DeTomaso] Blower motor resistor.

I always thought that the fan was too fast at the low speed, so I put an
additional resistor in line, now there's only a storm on the high speed.
Last year in France we enjoyed A/C and that lowered speed fan all the time,
only using the high speed when the Pantera had been parked

If it's a bad resistor, Ford issued TSB #7, article 60, in which they
recommended adding TWO stock resistors wired in series to slow down the
blower motor, give more separation between the two speeds with less fan
noise on low speed. Sadly, they gave the Ford part number but not the
electrical specs
for the resistor. Whatever its value, you can use up to twice the ohms.
Good
luck- J Deryke
