[DeTomaso] Veglia Amp Gauge Needed

After I read your installation email, I would have to agree. In this case,
Doug Braun, our local electrical wizard, installed it for me, and recall the
struggles he had getting the connections tight in the close quarters he was
working in. Now that things are out, I just have to make sure I get it
tight when it goes back in.

Thanks, Mike

Have the Rick Mosley relay kit, so no fire worries.

>>>Uh...what?

The various relay kits available (Moseley, Boschert, Haas) are all great,
and all have a very valid function.

None of them has anything to do with this issue, however. In fact, if you
installed it sloppily, you could likely INCREASE the threat. The problem
often arises when people disconnect one of the wires from the ammeter, which
you have to do in order to hook up these kits. If you fail to tighten the
connections again, resistance can build up and lead to a fire hazard.

So, the presence of this kit isn't a panacea. However, if in the course of
installing it, you tightened the connections properly, then yes, you have
ensured the safety of the system. But it's the tightening, not the actual
addition of the component, that achieves this.
