[DeTomaso] 2014 Fun Rally Enclosed Car Shipping...UPDATE

I looked into transport for the first year the Fun Rally was in Phoenix, transporting from Reno/Norcal and if I recall correctly it was $1500 per car round trip cost, based upon 6 cars. I could not get any interest from any more than 2 cars. I subsequently got my own ex NASCAR hauler and transported 5 Pantera's to this year's event. When it is all said and done those guys earn their money. My rig gets 5-6 mpg empty or full, and what most forget (or ignore) is the cost of running a full semi over the road, licensing, maintenance, FMCSA compliance etc. all rapidly add up.
Houston sounds like a great destination in Spring.
