 Hey Forest, did CA shrink or something?? ?The last time I checked, San Diego is nearly twice the distance as Reno from you.

I would attend without a track event. I do not attend the track events anyway. 
San Diego is about the same distance from me as Reno and closer than Las Vegas

Just to be clear, the decision to NOT have a track event was a POCA decision; it  
was NOT a SDP decision. 
 
The number of attendees at the track events has slowly been decreasing over the  
years, and losses have 
occurred, even with POCA's AND the sponsor's contributions. 
 
With a $10,000 to $15,000 track rental cost, there needs to be a lot of  
participants to even break even. 
At $250 per car, 40 cars are needed to raise $10k.? This year's track  
participation had 18 cars. 
 
Here are some questions: 
 
!.??? How many would NOT attend a Fun Rally that does NOT have a track event ? 
 
2.??? If San Diego did have a track event, how many of the respondents to  
question #2 would NOT be going  
??? to San Diego because it's too far for them to travel?
