Ok, I had a typo on the initial posting.  Here is the corrected post:



Just to be clear, the decision to NOT have a track event was a POCA decision; it was NOT a SDP decision.

The number of attendees at the track events has slowly been decreasing over the years, and losses have
occurred, even with POCA's AND the sponsor's contributions.

With a $10,000 to $15,000 track rental cost, there needs to be a lot of participants to even break even.
At $250 per car, 40 cars are needed to raise $10k.  This year's track participation had 18 cars.

Here are some questions:

!.	How many would NOT attend a Fun Rally that does NOT have a track event ?

2.	If San Diego did have a track event, how many of the respondents to question #1 would NOT be going 
	to San Diego because it's too far for them to travel?
