The butt of this joke is clearly the newsmedia, not the victims of the crash nor the Asian community.  That's what makes it so hilarious.  Whoever thought of these joke names + leaked them to the media is a comedy genius and very clever prankster.

I laughed so hard that I cried that the reporter didn't realize their mistake. I am not making light of a sad, tragic event. I was stunned by the reporter.

Asiana is suing a TV station because of the made up names???  Riiiggghhhttt,
and whose pilots killed three people, injured a couple of hundred, not to
mention trashing a perfectly good airplane?   Sorry, you got what you
deserved Asiana . . .



What I can't believe is the news bimbo said it with a completely straight
face.  How could anyone on the production and editorial staff not smell a
rat.  Talk about Sum Tin Wong!!
