I suggest using a braided-stainless dash-4 AN line, and that thread
(7/16-20 SAE) is a virtual duplicate of the stock metric hard-line connection. They
should screw together with your fingers; if you are the worrying type, add
a viton o-ring between the metric junction block down below and the AN
fitting. On the clutch slave, there are many, all threaded differently. I
suggest getting a pipe-to-dash-4 AN fitting and doing what you must to make it
fit the slave you have. U.S- made long-throw slaves & CNCs are usually SAE 1/8
or 1/4 pipe thread.
There's really no advantage to using a dash-3 here, in contrast to the
brakes, as the hydraulic- quickness afforded by dash-3 components in your clutch
system will be offset by the stock slowness of your ZF synchros in
shifting, so there's no gain but much adaption needed, with possible leaks. Good
luck- J Deryke
