[DeTomaso] distributor

The old  valve seal problem is really only from stock 40 year old
engines or 20 year old rebuilds that inexplicably used stock seals.
It's super unlikely id your engine has already been rebuilt once.  As
Charles says, it could be your oil pump. High volume pumps have been
implicated as the culprit more than once.
