Michael,

You missed the whole point of this particular manifold with IDF webers (not IDA) you don't have to cut the decklid, look at the photo link I posted. This manifold with 48IDF's and filters atop all fits under the decklid and engine screen and the IDF's are a more streetable carb. than the IDA.

Given that 302 48IDF complete setups sell new for $2795 to $2995 ready to bolt on I'd say nearer the $3,250 mark for a 351C complete setup given the manifold is more expensive. Corey has done some research work in that area I believe, who knows maybe a group buy to be had there too, asssuming most want to go IDF's and not use the manifold for a low profile EFI setup.

and you have to cut the decklid, that's why I don't have them.

Dear Julian and Corey,

I have always been a fan of the Webers stack, but I have
learned that it does come with a price. Given the availability of an
excellent Cleveland IDF intake manifold for IDF Webers, then........what
would the associated costs be for eight IDF carbs plus throttle linkage
plus anything else pertinent to such a project?? $825 + shipping +
carbs + special throttle linkage = about how much to have a stack of IDF
Webers atop the Cleveland?

                          Curious, Chuck Engles
