[DeTomaso] adding oil and freon to AC

Hi,

Got my AC belt and tensioner replaced. The AC unit has not been operated for
better than 20 years. Everything looks to be in tack and in good shape. My
74 has 10K miles. I have a bottle of R12 but my question is before I turn it
on is there a way to check if there is enough oil in the unit? I see no
leaks. Thanks in advance.
