The plates are Swedish.

The VIN is THPNML04488.

It is a 1973 year model, and was first registered in Sweden 1978-08-29.

It should have had its safety inspection done by 1983-04-30. It was last 
successfully inspected 1981-04-28.

The current owner bought it 2004-11-29, and it has had 9 owners in 
Sweden, including any dealer that may have owned it.

The last entry in the Swedish DMV registry is from 1999-10-25, when it 
was temporarily suspended from active service. This is frequently done 
over the winter, when vehicles are not being used. That saves on road 
tax and insurance.

All the above information comes from public Swedish records.

Isn't this car on some British sales site?
