You need a Mallory 29078 tach adapter.
Connect the 29078 red wire to ignition switched 12V. This powers the
adapter.
Connect the 29078 Black to chassis ground. This completes the power
circuit to the 29078.
Connect the 6AL Yellow wire to the 29078 Green wire. This triggers the
29078.
Connect the 29078 Orange wire to the Pantera Blue/Black tach wire. This
triggers the Pantera tach.
The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing.
Do the best you can with what you have where you are.
Have fun today,

Hi Pantera Team
I have just fitted a Mallory 6AL (Pt no 6853m) and a promaster coil (Pt no
29440) - I had a Unilite dizzy (Pt no 4756701) already.
The car starts, runs and stops fine -
The only drama, I have no Tach -
I coupled the yellow wire from the Hyfire 6AL to the Blue and black, that
was coil -ve to tach.
That's what the Mallory instructions said - the tach did work fine before,
but not moving now?
Any suggestions?
Do I need a Mallory tach adaptor (Pt no 29074) - if so how is it connected?
Best Rgds
Terry.
