Found it.   Not much screen time but here's the link  http://www.hulu.com/watch/113695

If the link doesn't work it is in the 7th episode in season 2.  Episode aired on 11/9/85.

Car first appears briefly at 14:26 and most screen time starts at 20:25.

BTW, gauging from the aesthetics of the car in the still photo you shared, 
I suspect it's a genuine GT5 rather than a US-built conversion of an earlier 
car.
