The April issue of Popular Hot Rodding has an interesting article on a Pantera "restoration" on page 39. They are not taking it back to stock, but are doing some really creative stuff, especially with the front and rear suspension. Also swapping in an LS3. The work is being performed by the Ring Brothers in Spring Green, WI.
