Got mine when I was 19 and a junior in college--it was put on my dad's company's insurance plan with me listed as the principal driver.  The only US GTS I know of that when to school five days a week (unless I skipped class), to the grocery store, the movies, wherever.  It was a lot tougher than anyone anticipated.  I took care of it, but still put all kinds of miles on it.  Still have it some 38 years later.  Love it.  Daughter, who's now at the same college and a year older than I was, will inherit it--but not until I'm done with it...

I purchased my first Pantera at 24. I recall having to wait one year til I turned 25 when my insurance was reduced by half.
