[DeTomaso] Somebody in CA please rescue this car!

 I think I'm right about this.  It's a Kelmark GT kit car that was designed to go on a VW chassis.  Saw these advertised in the late 60s (I think).  I see that this one has a V8.  Saw one of these at Road America last year that was fairly well done, but that just means there were only some bad body gaps.   When these were popular, I remember getting all excited to see one only to be disappointed when you heard the telltale sound of an aircooled bug motor when it drove by.
