Zero pedal meaning what?
- the pedal does not move at all, or
- the pedal goes to the floor but nothing happens?

Remove the line from the slave. Have someone carefully and slowly
depress the pedal. If fluid comes out the line, then you know the
problem is in the slave. If fluid does not come out the line, then
the problem is upstream.

If the line is clear and can push fluid through using the pedal in the
car, remove the slave, disassemble, clean and re-assemble. You should
find the problem easily.

Oh, and I'm assuming you can operate the lever on the trans without a
problem. If the lever on the trans is hard and won't move, then you've
found the problem; your already engaged and something is wrong.
