I've used the stuff to coat a few things, and it seems to last. The 
left-over material went into a glass canning jar with a tight sealing lid and even 
after 3 years the left over is useable. Technically, its what used to be 
called a 'slush-molding' compound, which is descriptive of what the stuff is. 
I've found 6 different colors. FWIW- J Deryke
