Judy McCartney spoke with Santiago many months ago and invited him to come 
to this year's Fun Rally.   So they knew it was happening, knew the dates, 
and had been specifically invited to attend.   Instead, they then (later) 
planned their own event, and chose the same weekend.   I don't think it was 
done out of spite, but instead out of an utter disregard for what any De Tomaso 
people do outside of Modena....
