[DeTomaso] Pantera restoration video

Nice, but not enough pics of the finished car.  I like the lower rocker
intakes for rear brake ducting.  One question, at about 12:50 into the
video, you see a segment looking at the front of the engine.  There is a
pipe that appears to come off of the water pump, just forward of the thermo
pipe, just as large in diameter, that makes what looks like a 180 degree
bend and heads down behind the alternator.  Does someone have an idea what
this is for, other than an oversized heater hose connection?

I happened upon this video of the restoration of a rusty car-- probably in
Switzerland based on the unintelligible German-like dialect of the speaker.
