Dear Bjoern,
I was given a twenty year old MSD 6 AL and ignition
coil. I sent them down to MSD in El Paso, Texas about six weeks ago.
They promptly tested the coil and proved it was working to spec. They
do not repair coils, but they'll test them for a small fee. The box
was tested and found faulty and repaired for about $35 and returned.
Total turnaround time was about 2-3 weeks. No problems. I would send
your MSD ignition module to them without concern.
Warmest regards, Chuck Engles
