[DeTomaso] NPC - POCA IT

So none of us improve our Panteras? Because they're good enough? The
argument is razor thin. Did your ancestors burn the looms in England a
couple of centuries ago?

Darwin would understand me perfectly!

If a design works, it lasts. New evolutions, with their frilly things and
fancy colors may come along, but the test of time is the proof of the
efficiency and effectiveness of anything.

The DeTomaso Forum is the equivalent of Triops cancriformis, the tadpole
shrimp. It has been around for 220 million years and is the oldest known
species currently alive. It is simple, tough, effective, and efficient.
Newer species have come and gone, but the Tadpole Shrimp has trundled on
because it works. And as such, it has survived.

(I had to google to find the shrimp, in case you were wondering).

Charles, quoting Darwinish as an argument for Not evolving to a better IT
set up would probably make him turn in his grave. If everybody through time
had stayed at what works instead of evolving, we would hardly be standing
upright yet :-)

BTW, would you be on facebook if it had no pictures?

(I've been hanging out on Facebook too long, as I was looking for the "like"
button for Will's comment).

But I think he's right. This format has existed since 96 or 97, and it's
proof of Darwinism... it survives because it works and people use it. Other
formats that don't find favor with people die off.

The fact that the forums have survived for so long is proof that some
people prefer that format.

If you want to talk to everyone, join both.
