I think the biggest problem with using email is you can't insist that
everyone use a threaded mail reader.  This sorts the email like it would
appear on a forum.

Some folks don't like threaded readers though and it is best to have a lot
of choices in how you follow a thread.  So more choices == less
satisfaction.
