All, what is the aim of POCA? Is it to grow and have as many POCA members
from the US and the World as possible? To the benefit of our Panteras? If
no, stop reading, if yes, read on.

We need to seriously upgrade our IT. We're members here because we like
classic cars, not classic IT, right? :-)

1. The way we pay. I know more than one past member that shall remain
nameless, that are no longer members because they find the envelope back and
forth things too much to be bothered with. OK, not the end of the world, but
we should be able to pay our membership dues online in 2 minutes. Make it
easy for the customer to spend their money is rule #1
2. The mail list. It should be a Forum! Yes, a Forum with pictures, easy
search facilities, banner lines, avatars etc.. And to those that love the
current mail stream, there is not much if anything our mail stream can do
that a Forum can't do. PI Forum as example, you can have a mail every time a
topic that interests you gets answered, or you can have as I prefer a daily
mail with all the activity. And pictures! Did I mention pictures? Many
people ask their questions on PI, not because the group of people in there
are better at answering, but because of the ease of using it
3. Home page could also be improved, all webpages can, but 1. and 2. are the
most important

When you attend a POCA Fun Rally as we did in spring, you're amazed at the
arrangement. So much dedication and hard work put into it. So it's not a
club where there are no resources to draw from. We must have somebody
IT-literate enough to change these things, and it can't be too expensive,
small local clubs can manage. And it will increase # of members without a
doubt. Do we want that?

No, I'm not running for president, and I'm not IT-literate, I'm just a POCA
member that benefits a lot from this membership and would like to see POCA
grow.

Just my $0.02

Mvh/Regards
Mikael
