[DeTomaso] NPC - jump starting a car

Charles,

It sounds to me as if you have a dead cell or a shorted sell.  I think a 
new battery is in order.  Some chargers have a reconditioning setting 
that will help a bad cell but not fix it. If you have a shorted cell, 
when you connect the jumpers you will notice a big drag from the 
alternator on the running engine.
