[DeTomaso] Headlights won`t go down again

Another known weak point is the headlight switch, which has a reputation for
failing. 

When mine failed, my headlights went down and wouldn't come back up, but I
don't know if they fail "backwards", ie the way you describe?

If I remember correctly, Jorn has a late model Pantera, and therefore does
NOT have the hand crank knob...

Start with a little jiggleing of the limit switch connections. You know you
have a hand crank knob too. If that does not work, you can check the limit
switch function with a meter or test light. On my car I eliminated the limit
switches. I look at the lamps as they rise and when they get to the top I
let off the switch. NOT idiot proof but Im the only driver, and I don't
drive at night!  Bill 1362
