Start with a little jiggleing of the limit switch connections. You know you have a hand crank knob too. If that does not work, you can check the limit switch function with a meter or test light. On my car I eliminated the limit switches. I look at the lamps as they rise and when they get to the top I let off the switch. NOT idiot proof but Im the only driver, and I don't drive at night!
