[DeTomaso] Stress-relieving Rims

 Mike,

Aren't aircraft wheels made of magnesium?   I would assume they are subject to some pretty good abuse so that begs the question if there is a maintenance requirement to stress relieve them after so many landings.

I have only heard of a few failures and all of them were after a violent 
encounter with a pothole or something like that. My coffee table Campy is one 
such example as it has a hairline crack that prevents it from holding air. 

But I find the notion that a standard Campy wheel is somehow fragile to be 
ridiculous.
