[DeTomaso] Modern 15" Tire Options

The P7 Corsa Classic would be good for 8s an 10s...believe the Michelin TB is also available in sizes close enough.

The Hoosier R6 is available in 275mm that would be close enough on a 10" wide wheel.

Any of these would be stupendous compared to a BFG Euro T/A or other ancient S rated option.

I took delivery of my 308 which came with Pirelli P6000s in 205/70-14 on factory optional 14x7.5 wheels. The shop doing the work were expert restorers but not into racing/tracking/high performance driving. They suggested the Pirelli P6000s and stated that they would be "fine" for street use. It is a tall tire made for a purpose other than all out performance.

I found the car undriveable. There was so much bodyroll and chassis feel was terrible.

I had them switch to Yoko A008RS in 225/60-14 and the difference was immense. The grip, turn in and response was MUCH improved.

I have had much trouble not installing racing or R compound tires on anything ever since.

Julian,

You are forgetting that LS has a GT5-S. so in his case, yes.

Ain't nuthin' wrong with a good set of Campagnolo wheels at 160 mph either....
