[DeTomaso] Heat Insulation - Engine Bay

I'd like to put this stuff above the cooling tubes running under the
car.  Even with the heater hoses shut off in the engine compartment, the
console got uncomfortably hot last week when I took it for a drive.  The
trouble is, all the original undercoating is still there and I don't
know this stuff will stick to that very well.
