[DeTomaso] Powdercoating Original Rims

Thick coats of paint on the surfaces that contact the hub and the lug
nuts will cause the tension from tightening the lug nuts to go away.
Hence you either retighten the nuts several times after having wheels
painted or you mask/remove paint from those areas.

I can only add that the color is known as Argent Silver and that
Precision
Proformance sells the Gold Campy stickers.
I like metal air valves.

Will you also be clear coating them?

Why would you not coat the lug contact area, with threads I understand
about adding thickness, but there is no
such concern with our stock wheels.

I don't know if you have any extra wheels, but if you did have a spare
front and back available, it sure would be nice
to have to coated at the same time to ensure that the color matched. If
you don't, they can be had relatively cheaply
for 7" and 8".
