[DeTomaso] Powdercoating Original Rims

Stephen,

Powder coating seems to be a trick for the Campis'.  The magnesium seems 
to outgas more than most metals and has a tendency to bubble the coat.  
On aluminum and steel wheels I have had powder coated, the entire wheel 
has been done.  I have used them for years with no ill effect.  I will 
say that wheels with the outside rim edge and the inner hub centric 
piece left raw is appealing to me.

I am sure there will be a plethora of other comments on this topic,  
since we haven't covered it in a while.
