[DeTomaso] POCA event, another European participant's view, sitting in Los Angeles

Coming home from a 25 miles bike tour on the LA coast and having access to a computer in our hotel I just wanted to say thank you so much for the fantastic organisation and the overwhelming hospitality at the fun rally in Phoenix.

After reading Mikael's post I feel that it's hard to add anything to his statement: all of us had a fantastic time and we would be more than happy if we could participate again in future.

After seeing all your fantastic panteras and talking to so many enthusiastic owners I can't wait to be home again, finish my engine overhaul and enjoy #5891 on a spin through the german alps....

So, thank you again for all!
Wolfgang & Gabi
Jürgen

BTW: I had a further fantastic experience when meeting the former owner of #5891 in Palm Springs after the fun rally: great stories and anecdotes from his 28 years ownership and his participations in former fun rallies in Las Vegas!

It was great. Thanks to all the people that did all the work. And all the
helpful people when we had a few semi-stupid questions along the way, we got
super help. We met many Americans that we never met before, some with names
I knew from the mailing list, some total strangers. Not strangers for long,
easy to talk to, and many very interested in Denmark, from visits or
ancestors. And we got several invitations to stay at their home when we do
our 3 week AZ-CA vacation with our son in June-July. Are all Americans this
friendly, or only POCA-Americans??

Great events with variety. Scenic trips, food, free bar, racing, car show.
That should cover anybody's wish. On top of that a wedding!

Only downside besides jet lag was not having brought my Pantera, but Mike
Drew let me ride his on the track, that helped the mood a lot.

Thanks for all from us
