Stumbled across this post on a GM forum from last year in which the OP suggests 
a modern Pantera as a competitor for the current Corvette.  Interesting 
visions/delusions of a front engined Pantera with a Ford Fusion nose and and 
Eco-boost 6 cylinder engine.  Renderings actually look more like a Maserati 
Ghibli than a Pantera.
