[DeTomaso] The long-lost John Parsons....

Hi guys,

Oldtimers will remember John Parsons, the charismatic Brit expat who lived 
in So-Cal and drove the wheels off his fairly stock red Pantera.   Despite 
having only moderately upgraded brakes, he would run competitively in the 
actual race at the POCA Fun Rally track events, driving away from cars that 
were, on paper, much faster.   He also was an autocross demon.   (When Youtube 
was brand new, there was a great video posted of him tearing up an 
autocross, but I can't find it now).

He had to sell his car many years ago and completely disappeared from the 
community, but just yesterday, he wrote to me out of the blue and said he was 
considering coming to the Fun Rally, as he misses the old gang.

Looking forward to seeing him there!
