Freddy,

The headlight switch should be off when the left side is depressed. All of the console switches should be off
when the left side of the switch is depressed.

I suspect that there is a problem with the headlight down limit switch. It is the switch that is located between the
headlight torque bar and the front trunk bulkhead, and has a brown wire on one terminal, and a green/ black
wire on the other terminal.

With the lights turned off at the headlight switch, and the ignition switch turned on, try pushing in on that limit
switch a few times to see if the headlight doors start to move. Make sure that you keep your hands clear of any
moving parts of the door lift mechanism. Use something like a piece of wood or a screwdriver to work the switch.

If that doesn't work, disconnect the battery (don't want any surprises !! ) and remove the two wires (brown and
green / black) from the limit switch. Making sure that those two wires are not touching a grounded surface,
reconnect the battery. With the lights switched off, and with the ignition key on, MOMENTARILY touch those two
wires together. This will cause an arc, so be prepared. If the headlight doors start to move, then that limit switch
is bad.

Try the above tests and report back to us.
