            Good news: BMW has the money and the engineering expertise to do
it.

            Bad news: BMW engines have no dipstick; it isn't easy to modify
BMW engines; BMW styling has been, umm, controversial lately; iDrive.


            It probably is just a rumor.

Or not. 

But it would really be interesting if it were true. BMW has the cash to make
it happen if they decide to do it...
