That's exactly what I am looking for.  Do you know anywhere I can get a
voltage gauge like that?

The ammeter is not troublesome, any more than a voltmeter is.   You either 
have the connections tight and secure, in which case there are no problems, 
or you leave your connections loose, in which case there can be problems.   
Just tighten your connections and live happily ever after. :>)
