[DeTomaso] Deck lid wobbles

At the minimum, you need the latch. It works wonders.
At the maximum, you can add the chassis stiffener and improve your handling, too.

I had the first for many years and no chipping.
I got the latter many years later and still no chipping and love how the car's handling has changed.

The back pillars are another story entirely. Quella welds in a piece that looks like a 'star' of metal to reinforce it.
Mine hasn't cracked since 1985.

Of course, this is purely based on my own personal experience and may have no relationship to real life and other's experiences.
