Bill, I'm with you. The Prova site has always been a mystery to me, and
quite frankly, an annoyance. In our usually very helpful DeTomaso world,
where information and help is totally free, here's this proprietary-like
segment, a members-only club. Like you, if a mail has a link to prova, I
don't even bother. In fairness to Chuck, he has tried to help me get
pictures on prova and thereby getting me inside this restricted club. But he
wants VINs as well, and Danish insurance companies (mine at least) don't
want VINs published on the web. I know that's 180 degrees opposite of what
other non-Danish insurance companies want, but that's how it is.

Back to Prova, is it really necessary to keep non-contributers out, to get
people to contribute their VINs and pictures? Shouldn't be. Up to the owner
of the site of course, but it would be of value to me and others in my
situation, and potential Pantera owners, to let this be public.

Just my $0.02, expecting no change.

Mikael

Stephen, this may be another thread like the one recently on the POCA site
about the worthiness of Mike Drew V/S the Profiles mag. ----- I
owned a Pantera, and was a member of POCA several years before I was able to
get on the Prova site. I also was told that I had to post photos and
information before I could enter. Actually, I did not know how to post
pictures, and I also wondered about the rationale behind that rule. Many
times folks refer to cars on the site, and I do not even go to look at them.
So, let's see what's up. --------Bill (not very techie) Lewis
