A piece of tin with rivets would look better. Mine are gone, I say get rid of them.

It's pretty amazing they couldn't find any side marker in the Ford parts bin
that would just fit. Looking at it, it's not as if it naturally flows with
the lines of the genius Tom Tjaarda, it's a recessed square hole. Looks like
the side markers for a 70s car with acres of hood and no space inside, maybe
rear lamps in the bumpers. Doesn't look sporty or Italian at all. Are they
really Pantera specific?

Maybe I should just weld them all up?

Mikael

I'm under the impression that the bezels are Pantera specific. The
angles on the Capri sheet metal where the markers mount are different.

>>>That's right. Wilkinson has recently introduced repros.

Interestingly, although the Ford parts book only lists them for front and
rear (and the Ford parts book doesn't offer the lenses seperately--the
lights are only offered as an assembly there), last time I looked at one (on
Lori's '71 #1765), all four were different, marked as left rear, right rear
etc.

The Wilkinson parts book lists different part numbers for the left rear and
right rear, and right front and right rear (and further spells out that they
were cast until #1651 and plastic thereafter). The Italian parts book shows
one listing for cars up to #1110, a second one to #1650 and a third one from
#1651 on, again, specific for the four corners of the car. Curiously, they
are not all listed in the same place in the parts book; the first ones are
on page 6, and the latter two on page 40.

Makes sense, right? :>)
