[DeTomaso] What's the latest on factory replacement windshields?

I purchased a windshield from Bruce a while back. It came as promised and
looks good. I have yet to get to the point of installing it though. Any
reports from those who have on the fit?  Mine is a '71 as close as you can
get to John's S/N.
