I agree on excessively shiny wheels. Marino Perna at Pantera East used to 
offer both polished and matte finish 16 and 17" wheels. They came polished 
from the mfgr so he bead-blasted them for a matte finish if requested. Other 
brands could be treated the same. FWIW- J Deryke
