Saving weight is like buying stuff on sale.

You get all excited abut the things you save weight on but don't mention
the stuff you add weight to.

If it is for race purposes there are a lot of things.

You can get rid of most of the internals in the doors, change to pull up
windows with a strap.

Get rid of center console.

Air conditioning including the tubes is over a 100 lbs. Don't forget the
tubes.

Remove all headlight mechanisms and go to a light inside the hole with
lexand over it. Not pretty but several lbs there.

Aluminum rear uprights would be a chunk.
