[DeTomaso] Good radiant heat barrier??

Due to a leak in my heater hosing (I think I may now start double clamping things, DUH),
I've torn out the carpet and the felt padding and ordered the Dynamat Extreme and
new carpeting.

But I'd like a radiant barrier, also. Most radiant barriers incorporate a foil layer.
The Dynamat Extreme does have an aluminum face, but nothing in their literature speaks of any
radiant barrier action. You'd think it would be mentioned if it provided radiant blocking.

I've been looking at several radiant products offered by Thermo-Tec-

They have an 'adhesive backed heat barrier' which appears to just be self-adhesive foil.

Thermo- Guard Flame Retardant is a layer of foil laminated to a quarter inch of synthetic felt, and
it is also offered with a dual foil face.

Last is a 1/16" Heat & Sound Suppressor with foil and a thin sound layer.

Anyone have any experience with any of these three items?

Anyone have another offering, for a radiant barrier, that they have used?

Thanks,

Larry
