Sad indeed! What mentality! Good thing they are not in charge of medical help, god forbid the doctors/nurses graduated from the wrong med school!!!

I know first hand that the power crews from Decatur and Huntsville AL were turned back in NJ. The people without power need to know the reason they are still in the dark.

Don't know if it is true, I heard, on the radio, that some areas were turning away out of state help if they were non-union crews.

By the way, I recently drove from Houston to Little Rock through Texarkana. It was the week before the storm hit. I passed SEVERAL tree crews on I-30. I am sure they were driving to the east coast.

I'm surprised at how far these crews drive to clean up after storms. I bet they started from Dallas/Ft. Worth, but that's ~1500 miles.
